Yesterday (19.04.2019) I had a pleasure to play online with splendid Players and great Handler in his own scenario. This was my first foray to online gaming in English. The game was so much fun! I would like to thank every Player and Handler for this opportunity to try something new. I do not want to spoil this particular scenario for anyone else (I don't know if our Handler will run it in the future for another group), but a flayer for the reelection of Tom Spurlock for Sheriff will be with me for a long time...
And today (20.04.2019) I've got the opportunity to play in my wife's own scenario with our DG group. It was something new because it was mainly a debriefing after an Opera went south. I've played a psychologist who was ordered to investigate the DG group after they come back from the mission, but everyone got different memories of what happened in a small town in Vermont. It was a very tense and psychologic thriller. Something rather rare in our DG games, especially it was a one-shot, so we've got a chance to not necessarily care about what happened to these characters... But we delve into insanity to the extreme. Nice change of pace from our typical DG Ops.
After that, we change places with my wife and I run a short Pulp Cthulhu scenario Midgnith Masquerade from Chaosium's Cult of Chaos forums. Quick, action-packed scenario. Grate for the first time experience we Pulp as a system or expansion. Maybe it is the start of something new? Maybe? We will see... But for now, I'm happy. Three sessions in two days... Wow!

7th Edition all over again
Many of You know that Kickstarter for Korean or Japanse edition of Call of Cthulhu was very successful. But the Polish edition is interesting too. After my comparison of original and Polish edition of Alone Against the Dark, I thought it will be interesting to show You my pledge level in Polish crowd campaign for Zew Cthulhu 7 edycję.
Keepers rulebook of course with two distinct covers to choose from, with quick start rules and two dice (for bonus and penalty - Qworshop fame).
Keepers screen with additional stuff (just like in original Keepers Screen - including adventures, maps, etc.)
HEAR THE CALL OF CTHULHU - 5 scenarios in one book.
CREEPING CONTRREVOLUTION - a scenario in PDF.
NEED TO FEED THE FIRE - a scenario in PDF.
IN THE MIDS OF STORES - a scenario in PDF.
Three booklets with additional information for Keepers.
New interior art.
Translated Keeper decks.
Soundtrack.
5 character sheets for different game periods.
AS above but in PDF.
Maps of 4 big Polish cities in PDF (period accurate).
Map of Arkham Asylum.
Postcards from Arkham.
Military Service Book.
Many player handouts in paper and PDF format.
So as You can see is worth to wait for this bundle. This is not shown off, just attempt to show You something from a distant place, from a dark corner of the earth...

Alone Against The Dark
Today I've got something different. I think in the first time in the history Polish version of Call of Cthulhu book looks better than the original version. Of course in the near future, there will be a total revmap or maybe a coloring of a couple of books that were first in 7th Edition line, but for now...
Polish edition is hardcover so it makes a big difference from the start. When You open the book it is not closing quickly. Art on the cover is a matter of personal preferences, I like both! Then, when You look inside, page layout and most of the handouts also are in full color.
Everything is the same, maybe except for two things. In the original version, the character sheet is blurred and in Polish book is razor sharp.

The second difference is in the advertisement at the end of the book - of course, it is reasonable. In the end, both of this book gives so many hours of superb tentacled fun, that whichever version You choose, You will be satisfied or terrified, or both.

Can You hear? Music from a darkened room...
After PX Poker Night scenario, once more we came back to our present campaign. So I decided to use one of my favorite classics - Music from a darkened room. What more can I say? This is a very specific mission, very hard and very dangerous. Everyone lose so much sanity, that next time it will be a breaking point time. House on Spooner is still standing. Maybe in the future, somebody will go back there?
As always I use my typical format for the intro for this game.
And for next time... I've started preparing something special:
(I know, I know, not official cover just a mashup I made...)
Sounds interesting?

New Year! New Possibilities!
Ah yes! The New Year has come. With its old problems, new problems and lots of possibilities!
But the new year is a moment of great sales, so I choose to buy something I thought about for a long time. Ladies and Gentlemen! Pirates and scums! In my greedy little tentacles is...
...Blood Tide! Maybe someday I will run something in that genre, maybe. Who knows!?
The second thing I received lately is something much smaller, much more awaited.
This is little zin, made by Good Friend os Jackson Elias. I myself lately became a Good Friend of a Good Friends, so this is a present from them to all of their Patreons. Everyone should definitely check them out on:

Somewhere in the shadows lurks SAP and other things...
On DG front was quiet since September. It was only a veil! Behind the scenes neverending fight with darkness rage on!
So since my last ramblings, we play three great scenarios. First one was Observer Effect - I do not need to tell You how good this adventure is. Pure gold in terms of playing with players heads. To such extent that one of the Agents shot himself in the head at the moment of the last scream at 10 o'clock, at the very end of the module! This was a very intense experience for all of us. Below You got intro created for the recording of this game.

To make things easier, to catch some breath before delving into more darkness, I decided to run something a little bit different. For so much needed change of scenery, I chose an old module - The Colony. I run it with pre-gen characters, and with special character sheets. Even Arc Dream repost picture from this game. Thank You! So much fun! Here is an intro to all of my DG one-shots, I only change titles of modules we are playing.
And last, but no means least is Our last game (1 of December 2018). This time we played the ongoing campaign. Leftovers from Observer Effect had a new mission. This time from Controlcopy module. No one died, but sanity loses were very big. So next time it will be breaking point time!

Astounding Adventures! (1)
After finishing Our one on one campaign - Horror's Heart, I decided to use old BRP supplement - Astounding Adventures (as You can already tell after the topic of this entry). For many years it was the substitute of real Pulp Cthulhu, but even now, after the later landed in tentacles of fans all over the world, Astounding... is a very solid thing.
The artwork is very good, the three adventures are fun and the adventure generator can be useful not only for straight Pulp adventures. After I choose the first adventure to run - Peril of Sumatra - and make a couple of handouts for my only player, I was ready to play. Then something truly magnificent happened! One of the players from my first ever RPG group reach out to me and ask if he and his lady, can play with us. The now live in a different country, so for the first time ever I run game over the net. It was something different, exciting and fun. We use Skype. During play, I send them handouts in files. Overall it was a very good new experience. A lot of things to improve, but in the end, those players from abroad ask for another session. So I want to run then two other scenarios from Astounding Adventures and then we will see. Maybe something with Two Heads? But with real life™, different time zones, work, and other stuff is it even possible? No... It will be madness. Don't You think?
