Ah! The joy of receiving another book! This time postman gave us little something with Xothic Legend Cycle. We never read anything from this author (Lin Carter). Any thoughts?

Tides of Cthulhu Times!

Yesterday I went to our FLGS and bought early present for Christmas, for my beloved wife. I choose Tides of Time but with Cthulhu twist! We play yesterday one game and it was very interesting. This is our first game, based on draft, so we have to learn a little bit. But rules are simple and game is so much fun! Anybody else play in this game?

Mysteries of the Worm...

Another package came to us last week. This time it was Mysteries of the Worm, by Robert Bloch!
I'm waiting to sink in to this book!

If You are so desperate to give your child something to do as I was, I`ve got a great idea.

This figurines I`ve made from salt dough and paint them. This was a really good afternoon for us.

Recipe for salt dough:

1 glass of flour, 1 glass of salt, 1/2 glass of water and 1/2 glass of potato flour. Mixed it, and you ready to have fun. After You made Yours figurines, bake them till they dry in the oven at 80-100 degrees Celsius.

Today on our front porch landed another package. This time two interesting books came to us!

Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu

Couple of weeks ago, we received Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu boardgame. Since then, my wife decide to paint miniatures from this game. Here is the final result of her work.

Hot tentacles for winter, You know, is coming...

My husband has a tentacles issue, so he made me to do the scarf for him in "Cthulhu styles". It takes a lot of my priceless time, so I curse him for that (not only in the Cthulhu dice game). After I finished his scarf, I`ve decided to make another thing, this time only for me. Now we are ready for dark, cold times or whatever is coming...

What to do with tokens in tabletop games?

We like to play tabletop games. We even have couple of them and from time to time we enjoy them. But one thing in games is problematic. What to do with miriad tokens? For one game - FFG Elder Sign - we come with nice solution. Using only glue and balsa wood and of course imagination, we create this! For every token i base game, there is little chest. My wife painted each of them with easy to recognize sign.
